Specifically, the new Biotec filters have an individual chamber, which is
filled as standard with Zeolite, However, as the name indicates, the use of
other filter media such as Oase Phosless is possible. The Biotec filters are
"activated" with the aid of the Teichkur set, consisting of strains of
bacteria, special granules and a bio-stabilizer.
This results in the colonization of friendly bacteria which get
rid of harmful substances by converting ammonia into nitrite,
nitrite into nitrate and nitrate into nitrogen, which then
volatilizes and is therefore removed from the pond.

The Biotec filter

Mechanical filtration is effected with a variety of foam

The multi-chamber system
guarantees a simple cleaning process. The microorganisms ensure
self-cleaning of the filter material. Manual cleaning is very rarely
required.
The Biotec filter was designed to have an extremely long life and it
therefore comes with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty. The product
will, of course, be replaced free of charge if it should develop a fault
during the warranty period.
