The Filter system with 3-folded guarantee:
Quality, Capacity and Functionality BubbleBead Filtration for Koi Ponds In ponds where Koi and similar ornamental fish are being kept in any numbers, the need for some form of filtration soon becomes apparent. With their greedy appetites and vigorous browsing nature, Koi soon pollute their surrounds with their wastes and with debris churned up from the pool base. Appropriate mechanical and biological filtration will give both the clarity required for viewing and the clean water necessary to maintain fish health. The BubbleBead filter system, with its high ability to remove particles down to 10 micron size and high efficiency breakdown of biological wastes can achieve this desired water quality either on its own or in conjunction with ancillary filter equipment. The BubbleBead filter’s simple valve operated backwash process makes maintenance very straightforward and for simplicity this operation can even be automated. BubbleBead filters are also ideal to boost fish stock capacity and solids removal in existing Koi ponds where current filters are becoming overloaded, and they can be used in combination with a number of other types of filter. Their compact nature and the ability to site them remotely also makes them ideal for retro-fitting in these cases, with minimal disruption to the surrounds of the existing pond. Removes solids to below 15 micron size for sparkling water clarity Filter bacteria function at optimal performance for highly efficient breakdown of wastes - even in heavily loaded stocked ponds
- Koi ponds - Quarantine tanks - Display aquaria - Fish holding systems - gets rid of solids, so... - gets rid of excess nutrients, so... - reduces algae problems ![]()
no moisture, smell or vermin but a totally closed system ![]() BubbleWash avoids damage to beneficial biofilm - Unlike some power-washed filters Polishes water and removes solids - Unlike fluidised bed filters Compact and suited to remote sitting - Unlike chamber filters Can use low pressure, low wattage pumps - Unlike sand filters Purpose made polyethylene filter body - Not just a modified tank Internal screens prevent media loss - Unlike some fluidised bed filters Low routine-maintenance requirement - unlike foam pad and brush filters Fully automated backwash - NO COMPETITION ! BubbleBead together with EstroSieve ![]() (1) Water is drawn by gravity from a bottom drain and/or (2) side inlet. Optionally, the EstroSieve can be isolated with a valve (3). A float (4) regulates the flow-rate into the unit to maintain the artificial water level (5). Water spills over the internal weir (6) and down the removable curved sieve element. (7) As oxygenated water filters through the sieve, dirt is lifted off and collects above water level (8). A pump, mounted either inside the EstroSieve sump or externally (9), draws out water and pumps this into (10) the BubbleBead Filter (or other external filter). (11) Water is returned from the filter outlet to the pond (12) by e.g. a cascade. Which Model?
