The FiltoClear range of pressure filters have outstanding filtration
properties and are very easy to use.
The dirty water is pumped into the pressurized system. This pressure
enables the outflow from the filter to feed a waterfall for instance, even
if it is higher than the filter.
These "New" pond filters have been designed with the pond keeper in mind.
They are pressurised so do not rely on gravity to feed the water back to the
pond. They can therefore be situated in the garden below the pond level or
in a shed, greenhouse or garage.
A flow indicator on the filters tells you
when the filter needs cleaning. They do not have to be taken to pieces to
clean. There is a second outlet on the top of the filter for back flushing.
This is normally laid in the garden so that when the filter is back flushed
you feed your plants with high nitrates as well. Using the control valve on
top, you set it to back flush. The water is then pumped backwards through
the filter sponges to clean them out. Also there is a handle on the top that
lifts up to squeeze the dirt out of the sponges.
