Introducing The Nexus Eazy
300 featuring Evolution Aqua's new
solids removal system utilising static Kaldnes.
The Kaldnes is retained in a stainless steel basket and has been proven to
trap incredibly small particles of waste. Cleaning the Kaldnes is a simple
matter of turning on the air tap to the settlement area thus agitating it
and causing the waste matter to be dislodged from the media so it can be
drained to waste.

Water Polisher and Air Backwash Kit The
improvement is by adding a full height metal plate (instead of the
half plate) and a plastic weir after it. This new design utilses the
whole pack of static K1. This maximises the cleaning potential and
is reported to give great results. Equally as exciting is the air
backwash kit which is part of this improvement. An airline and
airvalve are supplied. The air line fits into the 'D' shaped exit
grill. The other end is connected to the air supply for the
biological stage using a valve which is supplied. Cleaning is
simple, effective, user friendly and even enjoyable to do!!

The circulating pump is turned off and the air valve turned to
divert all the air flow from the bio stage to the exit stage. The K1
agitates vigorously freeing the trapped fines. After a minute, this
water is dropped to waste via the 'T' piece gravity users have
always been advised to install. EA have found that the best results
are achieved with a 3/4 inch pipe as the flow and draw is slower and
more effective in removing the particles. Once clean, the air is
shut off and return to the bio stage and the system started again.
