Kusuri have now released a new floating pellet food especially formulated
with extra medincinal inclusions, the new Kusuri FPF Wheat Germ formula contains all of
the high nutrient ingredients included in the FPF-1 formula, such as Krill,
kelp, garlic etc. Kusuri FPF Wheat Germ can of course be fed at any time, but are particularly
popular during Autumn, Winter & Early Spring periods when pond water
temperatures are low and a reduced feeding protocol is usually adopted.
With this in mind, Kusuri FPF Wheat Germ has be deliberately developed to include
a very high level of vitamins, minerals and other direct medicinal
inclusions called 'Optimum' a proven natural additive that stimulates
resistance to disease infection and helps promote tissue cell growth.
The
new 26% protein level of Kusuri FPF Wheat Germ formula is manufactured in the UK in
medium and large pellets in 1.5kg and 5kg tubs, 15kg plain sacks. Crude

Why all these
varied ingredients?
Koi have quite strict requirements for lipids, fibre, minerals vitamins &
protein. Some ingredients will supply essential lipids, fibre, minerals,
vitamins & amino acids but alone, lack the required levels that are needed
for Koi. And in fact the presence certain excess Amino acids can have
detrimental effects on the rate of growth. For example, high levels of
Isoleucine are known to reduce the growth rate on carp. We have formulated
our food to provide the correct balance of all the major requirements for
Koi. Additionally this is the only food available with Kusuri klay included.
Research proven for better growth, colour, and aids the prevention of stress
protein production. Also included are the Immune & health enhancing
properties of Propolis, Garlic & Brewers yeast. Kusuri FPF Wheat Germ
is formulated
for low waste & low nitrogenous output, high growth, with natural non
chemical colour enhancement. With generous inclusion of wheat germ along
with the improved nutrient assimilation properties of Kusuri Klay, we
recommend no minimum feeding temperature. Although we thoroughly recommend
that feeding is dramatically reduced below 10c (50f).
