This light, easy to use Redox potential value tester is ideal for oxidisation-reduction potential (ORP) measurement.
The Senz Redox Monitor is used to indicate the balance of electrons in the pond water. Water with a high Redox potential is of high quality, containing much surplus oxygen and complete mineralized of all organic waste material. Water with a low Redox potential would in contrast, be slow moving and cloudy, and would contain waste material that is incompletely broken-down. This waste is harmful and causes stress or even death to aquatic life.
Oxygen reduction potential (ORP) can be used to indicate the oxygen level in water. ORP represents the balance of electrons in water. Water with a high ORP is of high quality, containing much surplus oxygen and complete mineralization of all waste organic material. If the ORP is too low, there is a chance that oxidation and mineralization may not occur at all and the waste products accumulate to become toxic substances.
- The auto-off feature shuts off the tester when it is idle.
- Event in the even if the tester is accidentally dropped into the water, it will remain afloat so as to enable immediate retrival without damaging the electronics.
- Testers are splash proof, allowing easy washing
- The auto-off feature shuts off the tester when it is idle.
- Testers are able to withstand falls or drop shocks due to accidents.
