This product will restore clarity
to a pond that contains suspended particles or green water. All ponds, even when
fully mature and balanced, can experience loss of water clarity from time to
time. Generally this is caused by the pond ‘losing its balance’. Examples of
this could be algae blooms, beneficial bacteria dying back after a period of
reduced feeding or a slight change in pH. A medication of the pond will also
have a detrimental effect on the bacteria count. Often these changes are not
serious problems for the pond and it will recover in time. However we as fish
keepers desire crystal clear water and therefore we may require some assistance
to accelerate the ‘clearing’ process. Clear is a totally natural biological
product that causes the freefloating algae or suspended particles to bind
together (flocculate). The filter will then be able to mechanically remove these
larger particles from the pond and the clarity will be restored. Ultimately it
improves the environment for the fish by removing oxygen-demanding decaying
waste and living algae.
