The Black Standard Surface Skimmer is an extremely cost effective in wall pond skimmer. Designed to be built into the walls of the pond during construction this style of skimmer offers a permanent mounted solution which is more effective and aesthetically pleasing than a floating or in-pond skimmer.
The Black Standard Skimmer requires connection to a suitable external pump and we would recommend the water is returned via a filter system to improve efficiency.

Pond skimmers are designed to remove surface debris such as dust, leaves and foam from the pond surface. The Black Standard Skimmer can be built into the walls of a concrete pond or can be used with a pond liner as the clamping plate to secure the skimmer is included in the kit.
Please note that it is recommended that the Black Standard Skimmer be connected to a filtration unit of some sort, may be a ProfiDrum, Eazy Pod, Sieve etc
The ProfiDrum is highly recommended for this purpose and is easy to fit and an ideal pump for this system would be the Evolution aqua Vari Pumps used as a dry surface pump and not as a submersible.

Larger items:
Palletised items - Some large oversize products, typically items weighing more than 30kg, may require delivery via pallet. Standard Pallet charge is approx. £50.00. To ensure there are no delays with delivery, please include a contact number when placing the order.
Overseas – DHL and UPS, cost based on weight / volume at checkout.
Damages
Although we check that items we send are in good condition before despatched and are packed well to prevent damage, it is sometimes inevitable that the occasional item will get broken in transit.
Should this happen, please let us know within 24 hours of receiving your parcel. We will ask you to email us providing some images of the damage so we can address this with the courier.
We will arrange for a replacement to be sent out to you as quickly as possible, free of charge.
