Colombo Bactuur Filterstart is living bacteria for the start of your pond filter.
Colombo Bactuur Filterstart is essential for starting your biological filter. With new, as well as established filters that have been cleaned or rested over winter, Colombo Bactuur Filterstart contains over 800 million living nitrifying bacteria per millilitre.
Nitrifying bacteria are essential for optimum filter performance in pond filters and hence will create a healthy environment for fish and plants.
Colombo Bactuur Filterstart Directions for use:-
In case of start up or raised ammonia and / or nitrite values; 40ml per 1000 litres of water each day for 5 consecutive days.
If water temperature is below 10 degrees celcius dosage should be doubled.
Maintenance dosage: 20ml per 1000 litres of water each week.
