Colombo Pond Nitrite Test Kit, Nitrite (NO2) is produced from the breakdown of ammonia in the filter. Nitrite is highly toxic to fish, but is usually removed from the water by the bacteria which live inside the filter.
However, in new ponds and aquariums, or if the filter bacteria are damaged, the nitrite level may become toxic. The only way to know what the nitrite level is, is by testing the water with a Nitrite pond test kit

Damages
Although we check that items we send are in good condition before despatched and are packed well to prevent damage, it is sometimes inevitable that the occasional item will get broken in transit.
Should this happen, please let us know within 24 hours of receiving your parcel. We will ask you to email us providing some images of the damage so we can address this with the courier.
We will arrange for a replacement to be sent out to you as quickly as possible, free of charge.
