This pack will treat 25000 litres (5500 gallons) of pond water. 

Use for the treatment of skin and gill flukes and also Trichodina, Costia, roundworms, tapeworms and Argulus (fish lice). Fluke-EX® can be used in a pond without affecting either the bacterial filters or the plants.

Dosage: Use at a rate of 4g powder per 1000 litres of water. First add the required quantity of Fluke-EX® powder to 10 litres of pond water in a clean container and stir. Immediately add this stock solution to the pond water with the fish. Rinse out the container with pond water and add to the pond. If necessary a separate tank can be used to immerse the fish for the treatment period of at least 24 hours. In the case of egg-laying flukes, a second single treatment 3 weeks later after the initial one is recommended to ensure that all the hatching larvae are killed. This pack is designed for a single course of treatment of no more than 3 administrations.

Warnings, storage: Can be used in the presence of salt but do not use at the same time as any other treatment. For use in fish in closed water systems. Store in a cool dry place. If it is impossible to use all of the contents once the packet has been opened keep in the original sachet and reseal after use - the contents will keep until the Expiry Date on the packet. Dispose of any unused product according to Local Authority requirements.

In the case of some rare resistant egg-laying flukes repeat the initial dose of Fluke Solve Plus after 3 weeks to ensure the active ingredients are in the water long enough to kill any hatching fluke larvae and break the cycle of infection.

Extensive research has resulted in the creation of FLUKE-EX, a specially developed product for the treatment of the resistant flukes which are now causing serious problems in koi.

FLUKE-EX uses a combination of the proven technology with a new active ingredient. The special formulation which easily and rapidly dissolves in ponds and tanks, means you can see it dispersing through the water as soon as you add it to your pond or tank.

FLUKE-EX  is suitable for all ornamental fish, including in the presence of salt when added as a therapeutic. Fish can be fed normally during treatment. FLUKE-EX is safe with biofilters and plants.

How to Use FLUKE-EX 

Use at a rate of 4g powder per 1,000 litres (220 gallons) of pond or tank water. Simply take a clean container of the pond or tank water and add the required dosage of FLUKE-EX to it, then stir. Immediately add this stock solution to the pond or tank, and then rinse out the container with the pond or tank water and add that as well. If necessary, a separate tank can be used to treat the fish for a treatment period of at least 48 hours.

Take care to turn off skimmers while it is in use since they will remove the FLUKE-EX from the water, as will modern filtration systems which use carbon derivatives or other adsorbent materials and some drum filter technologies.
