The Hanna HI-775 Alkalinity Checker for fresh water is a simple, accurate and cost effective way to measure alkalinity in fresh water.
Designed as a more accurate alternative to chemical test kits, it is easy to use with single button operation and a large LCD display. This mini tester also features auto shut-off to ensure a longer battery life.
The HI-775 is ideal for checking water quality, great for educational and environmental applications and for use in freshwater aquaria.

The HI-775 uses a colorimetric method. The reaction causes a distinctive range of colours from yellow to blue to develop. This meter has been developed to work with fresh water samples.
Please note: Any chlorine present in the sample will interfere with the reading. To remove the chlorine interference add one drop of HI-93755-53 Chlorine Remover to the unreacted sample prior to testing.

Damages
Although we check that items we send are in good condition before despatched and are packed well to prevent damage, it is sometimes inevitable that the occasional item will get broken in transit.
Should this happen, please let us know within 24 hours of receiving your parcel. We will ask you to email us providing some images of the damage so we can address this with the courier.
We will arrange for a replacement to be sent out to you as quickly as possible, free of charge.
