Japanese Granite Kasuga Lantern Dimensions

All sculptures are hand carved in solid granite and, unlike concrete, sandstone and inferior materials, will not deteriorate due to adverse weather conditions.
The name comes from the Kasuga Grand Shrine in Nara, Japan established in 768AD.
The top of the lantern is carved to resemble a lotus blossom, which is the flower of paradise and a symbol of purity.
The light box is also intricately carved
This lantern comes in 6 separate pieces. You can leave the pieces sitting freely on top of each other. If you live in a particularly windy area or you are worried about children or animals knocking into the lantern you can stick the pieces together using a clear, outdoor adhesive such as Stixall.
This Japanese stone lantern is not drilled. You can place a tea light or candle in this lantern to produce light.

Palletised items - Some large oversize products, typically items weighing more than 30kg, may require delivery via pallet. Standard Pallet charge is approx. £50.00. To ensure there are no delays with delivery, please include a contact number when placing the order.

Damages
Although we check that items we send are in good condition before despatched and are packed well to prevent damage, it is sometimes inevitable that the occasional item will get broken in transit.
Should this happen, please let us know within 24 hours of receiving your parcel. We will ask you to email us providing some images of the damage so we can address this with the courier.
We will arrange for a replacement to be sent out to you as quickly as possible, free of charge.
