Kockney Koi have been producing the Yamitsu Algae Master UV water sterilisers in Great Britain since 1990. Their unique specification and design ensure a highly efficient unit at an affordable price. Historically all Yamitsu UVs were fitted with Philips germicidal lamps and these proved excellent. However, the Yamitsu Algae Masters now utilise the new Yamitsu high performance UV lamps which have been specifically tuned to match the Algae Master’s internal ballast, thereby significantly increasing UV output by between 7% and 11%, for even better results.
All Yamitsu UVs are made from high quality UV stabilised materials to ensure a long life span and incorporate turbulators to enhance their performance. Each unit is supplied with 10 metres of EN approved cable and fitted 3-pin UK plug for ease of installation.
Kockney Koi recommend that the Yamitsu Algae Masters should be installed using solid 40mm solvent weld pipe which glues directly into the inlet and outlet ports or alternatively 1.5" pressure pipe sockets will fit over the inlet and outlet ports. If you would prefer to utilise flexible pond hose each unit comes complete with glue in stepped hosetails enabling the connection of 12mm, 19mm, 25mm, 32mm or 38mm flexible pipe.

Larger items:
Palletised items - Some large oversize products, typically items weighing more than 30kg, may require delivery via pallet. Standard Pallet charge is approx. £50.00. To ensure there are no delays with delivery, please include a contact number when placing the order.
Overseas – DHL and UPS, cost based on weight / volume at checkout.
Damages
Although we check that items we send are in good condition before despatched and are packed well to prevent damage, it is sometimes inevitable that the occasional item will get broken in transit.
Should this happen, please let us know within 24 hours of receiving your parcel. We will ask you to email us providing some images of the damage so we can address this with the courier.
We will arrange for a replacement to be sent out to you as quickly as possible, free of charge.
