Oase AquaActiv PhosLess Filter Granulate reduces algae growth in ponds by binding excess phosphates. PhosLess also removes heavy metals and sulphide which can be harmful to fish health.
The PhosLess inserts can be placed into the Oase Biotec 18 and 36 filters or directly into moving water such as a stream or watercourse.
We recommend that for maximum effectiveness Oase PhosLess should be replaced every 6-8 weeks. The bound phosphate can be re-used as a fertiliser additive in the garden.
Treats 10,000 litres of pond water with an initial concentration of up to 5 mg phosphate per litre.
The PhosLess filter cartridges are a two-component system that can be used to supplement any filter system and serves as biological algae protection. Phosphates, which serve as a nutrient for algae, are removed from the water by physical means and are safely accumulated and trapped. The filter cartridges can be inserted directly into the holders provided in the BioTec ScreenMatic as well as ProfiClear Classic, and can also be used in any other area with a good flow. Once the binding capacity is exhausted, the unwanted nutrients can be removed permanently from the pond ecosystem.

Damages
Although we check that items we send are in good condition before despatched and are packed well to prevent damage, it is sometimes inevitable that the occasional item will get broken in transit.
Should this happen, please let us know within 24 hours of receiving your parcel. We will ask you to email us providing some images of the damage so we can address this with the courier.
We will arrange for a replacement to be sent out to you as quickly as possible, free of charge.
