Polyfelt Geotextile Underlay
We strongly recommend that our geotextile underlay material is used beneath a flexible liner, not only to help protect it from puncture by sharp stones, roots etc, but also to stabilise soft sub-soils and reduce excessive localised stretching of the liner. We supply a top quality underlay produced by Polyfelt Geosynthetics.

Our Polyfelt is a mechanically bonded continuous polypropylene filament. This non-woven needle punched felt offers advantages over other geotextiles such as increased resistance to dynamic loads, greater longitudinal, transverse and diagonal tensile strength, and superior long-term behaviour. What makes Polyfelt really special is the quality and the characteristics of its continuous fibres. They remain unaffected by extreme climatic influences such as frost, heat, or moisture. They are UV-resistant and have no by-products, which makes Polyfelt entirely environmentally compatible. Polyfelt TS demonstrates high uniform strength in all directions, which means there are no inherently weak areas.
Availability
This material is available as a 2m wide strip and in length up to 30m. We can supply any length cut to the nearest metre. Remember to allow for a minimum 10cm - 20cm overlap per strip when calculating your underlay sheet requirements.
