The ProfiAir 270 Disc Diffuser combines cost-effective design, low installation costs, reliability and performance for continuous aeration processes.

The ProfiAir 270 has precision die-cut openings for high oxygen transfer efficiency and performance. Oxygen depletion has always been a problem associated with warmer water and higher stocking levels, not anymore. 

Koi and aerobic bacteria in particular are extremely reliant on well oxygenated water requiring a minimum of 6mg per ltr. Realising the importance of oxygenation in today’s fish keeping environments and especially due to the increasing popularity of heating.

Absolute Koi, after considerable research, developed the ProfiAir 270. The Gummi Jaeger diffusers are the very best available in the world and manufactured from strong, entirely fish safe, medication and UV resistant materials. Being totally devoid of any raised or sharp edges to damage your koi. Suitable for salt or fresh water and any temperature.

The ProfiAir 270 is equally at home in not only Koi or garden ponds, commercial fish farms and aquariums both domestic and commercial, but also filters, where the gentle aeration and high oxygenation supports bacteria with minimum disturbance to detritus.

For those of you that do not have an aerated bottom drain, or don't have a bottom drain at all, then we can supply you with the ProfiAir 270 Disc Diffuser that simply sits on the bottom of the pond with the air line running directly to your Air Pump.

The ProfiAir 270 Disc Diffuser is known worldwide for its quality and design.

The recommended airflow is between 20-120 litres per min depending on the size of unit being used.

Due to the unique reed valve design due to the perforations on the diffuser, it is for the most part self-cleaning and extremely low maintenance. Giving years of trouble free operation it requires only very occasional removal and a wipe down with a clean cloth.

The valve system closes down when air is removed, which not only prevents dirt particles from entering but also eliminates the possibility of any back siphoning in to air pumps.

Both the ProfiAir 270 and ProfiAir 340 diffusers have 180 perforations per 25mm sq. This means the ProfiAir 270 and ProfiAir 340 diffusers have between 2,000 and 3500 perforations in each disc diffuser , giving greater surface areas and thus far greater oxygenation than anything else currently available.
