Velda introduces a new, quite efficient method to keep herons and cats away from a pond by stretching harmless electric fence, herons are prevented from approaching a pond and from catching valuable fish from that pond. The transformer gives off a low voltage (and harmless) electric pulse to the fence round the pond. When they touch it, not only herons but also cats are shocked and will avoid the pond in the future.
The increasing heron population is a danger for numerous pond fish and is a nuisance for lovers of ponds. Among them are those who keep Koi, who often have to see herons catch their valuable fish.
Its operation is quite simple: the transformer gives off a low voltage (and harmless) electric pulse to the fence round the pond. When touching it a shock reaction is produced, as a result of which herons and also cats will henceforth avoid the pond.
The Pond Protector is supplied inclusive of transformer, 10 synthetic rods, 80 metres of electric fence, connectors and instructions for use. The electric cable has a length of 80 metres, which is sufficient to protect 40 metres of pond side with two cables.

Palletised items - Some large oversize products, typically items weighing more than 30kg, may require delivery via pallet. Standard Pallet charge is approx. £50.00. To ensure there are no delays with delivery, please include a contact number when placing the order.

Damages
Although we check that items we send are in good condition before despatched and are packed well to prevent damage, it is sometimes inevitable that the occasional item will get broken in transit.
Should this happen, please let us know within 24 hours of receiving your parcel. We will ask you to email us providing some images of the damage so we can address this with the courier.
We will arrange for a replacement to be sent out to you as quickly as possible, free of charge.
