The Spindrifter Direct Air Kit allows you to hook up your air pump direct to the Diffuser; this means no Airline has to be threaded down the 1 inch pressure pipe. This has a number of advantages but the main one is no water can find its way down the 1 inch Pressure Pipe, which potentially will hold stagnant water and the dreaded blanketweed.

The Spindrifter bottom drain is known worldwide for its quality and design. The Spindrifter bottom drain completely replaces the "Standard Bottom Drain."

The most noticeable feature of the Spindrifter bottom drain is the extra connection in the sump of the drain. This is where the machined Direct Air Feed connector glues in, supplying Air to the main diffuser stem. This allows the air supply hose to enter the sump independent of the water outlet pipe, thus eliminating the possibility of restriction to the water flow and somewhere else for blanket weed to attach.

The second part of the Direct Air Feed glues on the end of the 1 inch pressure pipe which typically will be located in the filter house, enabling you to connect to the Air Pump.

This Direct Air Kit also prevents any back pressure, causing premature failure on your Air pumps.

The Spindrifter bottom drain is known worldwide for its quality and design. This Spindrifter Bottom Drain Twin is used on circular ponds where only one drain is needed.

The most noticeable feature of the Spindrifter Bottom Drain Twin is of course the extra connection in the sump of the drain. This allows the 4 inch supply to enter the filter house and connect on to a second filter, such as the Ultrasieve III or Cetus Sieve for example.

The membrane and backing plate on the Spindrifter bottom drain fits into a recess in the specially manufactured dome (provided). The recess in the Spindrifter bottom drain prevents the membrane from becoming detached. The complete assembly is secured to the Spindrifter bottom drain by means of a stem, which also provides the air inlet. Most water pipe sizes can be accommodated, the customer to specify. The air inlet is via a nickel plated connector.

Now look what we have found, a 110 mm to 4 inch Bottom Drain Converter, a special PVC pressure fitting that converts a 110 mm metric to 4" imperial. These Convertors can be used when you have a 110 mm Bottom Drain and are wanting to use 4 inch pressure pipe for yourbottom drain.

The Bottom Drain Converter socket features a male inner 110 mm insert to glue into the 110mm drain and a 4" socket to take 4 inch pressure pipe.

A very economical way of converting to pressure pipe sizes from Standard 110 mm Bottom Drains.

These Tommy Drains are perfect for those using mid water feeds to the filter systems and are worried about pulling fish in to the filter, pumps etc.

The Tommy Drain has its outlet at the Bottom of the Drain instead of the side of the drain like typical bottom drains.

The Tommy Drain has a removable lid with stainless Steel screws and a flange ring for fitting to liner or concrete ponds.

The Tommy Drain can still be used mounted in the pond base if required, such as for a quarantine system or where the outlet is best suited at the bottom of the drain instead of the side.

The Tommy Bottom Drains are suitable for outlets from the side or bottom of your pond or filter.

Aerated Portable Bottom Dome / Suction Drain
 
It is said that you can not beat a bottom drain system. If you have a pond that does not have a bottom drain but wish you had installed one, or do you have a bottom drain and want to install another here is the answer.

A Portable Bottom Dome that sits on the floor of your pond which requires no digging or intensive labour. Just simply place the self -weighted Portable Bottom Dome in your pond and attach a pipe from a pump such as an oase aquamax and enjoy all the benefits of a bottom drain with minimal expense.

This Portable Bottom Dome Improves water circulation, helps remove suspended particles and debris from the bottom of your pond reducing maintenance.

By adding an aerated Portable Bottom Dome, the drain will be 30% more efficient in pulling the solid waste into the drain.

This Aerated Portable Bottom Dome comes complete with a 90 degree bend and a stepped hose tail and 5 mts of air line to fit into a 4mm or 8 mm connector.

One more thing this Portable Bottom Dome will take 2" pipe work direct to the 90 degree bend.

It is generally accepted that Bottom Drains are a must and should be fitted to all modern day ponds under construction, those being modified, or alterations such as fitting a new liner.

This Standard, but good quality Bottom Drain features a removable lid with screw on flange ring for fitting to liner or concrete ponds.

The Bottom Drain also comes complete with centre pipe, which will need cutting to give the correct gap under the dome once the pond is built. Ideally 20 mm – 25 mm gap is recommended.

This drain comes in two sizes a 50 mm and 110 mm version suitable for standard solvent weld waste pipe work.

The 50 mm Bottom Drain is ideal for quarantine tanks for installation at lowest point of pond or tank, whilst the 110 mm Bottom Drain is ideally suited for ponds and larger quarantine systems. A must for gravity fed systems.
