The new Evolution Aqua Tempest features several important upgrades, including 1.5 inch double union ball valves, a redesigned waste valve assembly for better performance, and robust 3mm stainless steel mounting brackets for quick installation and long-lasting durability. These changes make the unit more robust, more reliable, and even easier for your customers to use.
The Evolution Aqua Tempest filter can also be used on quarantine systems or as a standalone filter on smaller ponds up to 5,000 Litres / 1,100 Gallons / 1,320 US Gallons.
The Evolution Aqua Tempest filter is easy to install and is simple and quick to clean, by way of a unique, patent pending air syphon design. During the cleaning process, air is drawn into the filter as it empties which causes the water to agitate, effectively cleaning the K+Media.
Using Evolution Aqua’s K+Media as the filter media, particles down to one micron can be filtered. Not only that, K+Media is the result of extensive research and development, moulded with minerals for faster maturation times.
Independently Tested Filter Media
Evolution Aqua filter media has been independently tested by IFTS (Institut de la Filtration et des Techniques Séparatives).
IFTS International Filter Testing Services is the international reference for solid-liquid separation. Founded in 1981, IFTS is an independently regulated, ISO 17025 accredited, laboratory and research centre focusing on liquid filtration and separation science. IFTS quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
How The Tempest Filter Works
Water is pumped up through the Tempest Filter. The K+Media moves to the top of the filter, becoming a mechanical barrier that traps debris as it flows through the system. Waste is trapped in the K+Media until the cleaning cycle dislodges it and it gets flushed away.
How To Clean The Tempest Filter
The Tempest Filter can be cleaned in matter of minutes, by simply turning the pump off, closing the ball valves and opening the waste ball valve.

Damages
Although we check that items we send are in good condition before despatched and are packed well to prevent damage, it is sometimes inevitable that the occasional item will get broken in transit.
Should this happen, please let us know within 24 hours of receiving your parcel. We will ask you to email us providing some images of the damage so we can address this with the courier.
We will arrange for a replacement to be sent out to you as quickly as possible, free of charge.
