Whilst doing a liitle maintenance on your ProfiDrum and shutting the drum down its worth considering changing the silicone seal which can also wear over time, so will need changing, its also straight forward job that will take 10 minutes or so, this can be done without removing any other parts such as the dirt chute.
One thing the silicone seal wont tolarate is UV light, so any Amalgam UV lights need to be fitted in the clean side of the drum and not the dirty side of the drum where it would be exposed to the silcone seal.
