The ProfiDrum Bakki Showers add an extra Bio filter for koi ponds which work very well at removing ammonia and nitrites from the water. Bakki showers work best with a large flow of water, the water becomes highly aerated as it flows down through the media gassing off, where as bio chambers ideally require a slower flow to create more dwell or contact time, particularly using plastic media.
Using the right media Bakki Showers can be used as your only bio filter, but most are used as an add onto compliment what you already have.

Not everyone likes the look of showers on the side of their pond, as this can spoil the aesthetics. Our Bakki Showers can be provided with a spigot underneath, which allows the water to be piped back to the pond or filter under gravity.
- Our ProfiDrum Bakki Showers are 1000mm wide Four Tier.
- Dimensions are 1000 mm long x 400 mm wide x 120 mm tall.
- Supplied with a 2 inch removable spray bar, all pre drilled.
- Can also be supplied as a Three Tier option should a smaller capacity shower be required.
The ProfiDrum Shower comes complete with bottom weir tray to sit on the pond wall but can be ordered with a piped base if required to allow the outflow to be piped to a certain location.
Its important to add Bakki Showers are only as good as the media you use.We recommend using Momotaro Bacteria House media, which is the original and best and used in Japan by many of the very best koi breeders over the years.
