These membranes are manufactured in China by a wholly owned American company that has recently received NSF accreditation across all its products. NSF is the most respected highest international standard. This company is the largest supplier of water products in China. We are proud to tell you these are assembled to the highest standard in China.

XLE-4040 = 10,600 litres (2,335 UK/gallons) per day, at a pressure of 100 psi. This membrane will provide the equivalent output to a HF-4 membrane, and is cheaper as well. This is under optimum output conditions.

Reasonable Expectations

Unlike many other companies, we would like to provide information as to a reasonable expectations. Fact: unless your input water is heated to 24 °C, and pumped with a pressure of 100psi, and other water factors you won't achieve the stated gallons per day.

UK water temperature is around 12 °C, and if you have a pressure of around 55 psi, you will approximately achieve in excess of 2 litres per minute (over 120 litres hour); that is around 2,800 litres per day. If you increase your pressure, you can expect a higher output. We assemble systems many times every week, and this is what we achieve straight from our pre-filters connected to the water mains when we test systems.

If you are going to pump your water, please ensure that your pump has sufficient water flow and pressure. Beware - there are many "water-movers"; low wattage, low pressure, high volume pumps. You need a pump that will provide around 5 litres per minute at a pressure of 80 to 100 psi constantly.
